Heba Amin is a lecturer at Bard College Berlin and doctorate fellow in Art History at Freie Universitaet as well as a recent Digital Cultures Research Lab fellow at Leuphana University.
Amin’s work looks at the convergence of politics, technology, and architecture by engaging with narratives of national sovereignty, often in contested territories and she especially questions methodological assumptions embedded within Western historiography. Her work has recently been exhibited at the 10th Berlin Biennale, 15th Istanbul Biennale, Kalmar Art Museum Sweden, La Vilette Paris, FACT Liverpool, Kunsthalle Wien amongst others.
Amin received her Master of Arts degree in New Media Art and Interactive Design at the University of Minnesota.
